Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TaskWhip, a Chrome browser extension and related services provided by TaskWhip, LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

By installing, accessing, or using TaskWhip, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

TaskWhip is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to record voice input and convert it into structured tasks using AI technology. Tasks can be sent to connected productivity tools such as Asana.

You agree to use TaskWhip only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Account and Authentication

To use TaskWhip, you must:

• Sign in with a Google account or create an account with email and password
• Connect at least one supported integration (e.g., Asana)
• Grant microphone access when prompted to enable voice recording

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Licensing and Subscription

TaskWhip offers the following plans:

• Free Tier: 15 tasks to get started, 30-second max recording, Asana integration
• Pro Plan: $9.99/month, includes 500 tasks per month, 90-second max recording, all integrations, priority support
• Pro+ Plan: $24.99/month, includes 2,000 tasks per month, 120-second max recording, all integrations, priority support

Subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor (Stripe). You may cancel your subscription at any time.

4. Task Packs

Users may purchase additional task packs:

• Starter Pack: $5 for 50 tasks (valid for 30 days)
• Growth Pack: $10 for 120 tasks (valid for 60 days)
• Power Pack: $20 for 300 tasks (valid for 90 days)
• Enterprise Pack: $50 for 1,000 tasks (valid for 180 days)

Unused tasks expire after the validity period.

5. Fair Use Policy

All plans are intended for individual use. Excessive usage beyond plan limits, automated usage, or sharing of accounts may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of service.

6. Integrations

TaskWhip integrates with third-party services (such as Asana) via OAuth. By connecting an integration, you grant TaskWhip permission to perform limited actions (e.g., create tasks) on your behalf within that service.

We are not responsible for the functionality, availability, or reliability of third-party platforms. Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms of service.

7. User Content

TaskWhip processes your voice recordings to create tasks. Audio is transmitted securely to our servers, processed by OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription, and immediately deleted after processing. We do not store voice recordings.

Task content you create is sent directly to your connected integrations (e.g., Asana). You retain all rights to your content.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use TaskWhip for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service
• Share, resell, or transfer your account to others

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to TaskWhip at any time, with or without cause, if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

You may stop using TaskWhip at any time by uninstalling the extension and, if applicable, canceling your subscription.

10. Disclaimers

TaskWhip is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that TaskWhip will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

We are not liable for any damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the extension
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI transcription or task extraction
• Actions taken by third-party integrations
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskWhip, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, regardless of the cause of action.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of TaskWhip after changes indicates your agreement to the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
